March slides her finger along book spines, absently reading the titles: Your Guardian Angel and You, Connecting with the Spirit Realm, Demon Summoning for the Lovelorn… Who comes up with this stuff?
She pulls the last book off the shelf, strokes the cracked leather cover, traces the blocky title written in gold, and shrugs. It’s not like she has anything better to do tonight, and who knows? Maybe she’ll summon someone tall, dark, and devilishly handsome. She giggles at the thought.
Ah, who is she kidding? It’s probably just some mish-mashed Latin and strange-looking symbols. Nothing’s going to actually happen.
